Team Brandon

Why become an ambassador?

What I love about living in Brandon .................there are a lot of things and if I can sum them all up it is about opportunity and balance.

Jeff Cristall, Managing Partner Meyers Norris Penny

That's a great message, can you promote this message?   Yes you can! The Ambassador Program strives to capitalize on the energy and passion that you have for Brandon.  Can you leverage your individual networks into a giant billboard proclaiming Brandon and its growing economic opportunities?  Are you interested in strengthening Brandon's position as a significant contributor to the Manitoba economy?  We'll show you how!  You provide the passion and Economic Development Brandon will provide all the information you need to be a successful ambassador.

Who are Brandon's ambassadors?

The Ambassador Program, in its early stages, will be seeking business owners, managers or professionals who have a diverse network outside of Manitoba.  In order to achieve maximum success, as we introduce the program, only a limited number of ambassadorships will be available. Over time this program will grow to engage the broader community in actively promoting Brandon.

An Ambassador's Role:

  • Actively promotes the city within their personal and business networks, emphasising the lifestyle and economic opportunities the city has to offer.
  • Learn about Brandon's competitive business advantages and success stories.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to attract or grow business, submit the lead.
  • Make an introduction.
  • Be an extra set of eyes and ears that recognize and report changes.
  • Share your successes and contribute testimonials.

Why an Ambassador Program?

  • Effective, economical & proven.
  • Citizens effectively selling their City.
  • Coordinate our brand.
  • Success stories are promoted.
  • Builds a positive community attitude.
  • Word of mouth is still the best

Brandon has much to offer – an active arts community, a college and a university as well as all the amenities you would expect in a city approaching fifty thousand people.
