  • Submit a business lead or idea. Proactively identify opportunities to attract or grow business, submit the lead.  When you are thinking "This may be the perfect business opportunity for Brandon," send in that idea.
  • Make an introduction. You know people who could help us grow Brandon's economy.  Refer a lead.
  • Be an extra set of eyes and ears that recognize and report changes in the existing Brandon economy. We will not divulge your name with out permission.  
  • Actively promotes the city within their personal and business networks, emphasising the lifestyle and economic opportunities the city has to offer.

  1. As an Ambassador, what is my role?

    2. The Ambassador Program is very flexible and can accommodate each individual's desired level of involvement.  Below are areas typical of Ambassador involvement.

    Actively promotes the city in their everyday routine, business or leisure. 
    Endorses the area as a centre for tourism, industrial and economic development. 
    Encourages potential visitors and important decision makers to visit Brandon by emphasising the benefits the area has to offer. 
    Establishes a rapport with fellow Ambassadors and shares their experience of living and working in Brandon.
    Proactively identify opportunities to attract or grow business.

     

  2. Can I submit a story or quotation describing my personal view of Brandon's opportunities and benefits?

    3. Personal views are the backbone of the Ambassador Program, your comments whether lifestyle or economic are very welcome. Send your story or a great quote to us via contact us.

     

  3. Can you provide me with Brandon's advantages on specific industries?

    4. Economic Development Brandon can provide you with a wide range of industry specific benefits, costs and comparable return on investment.  Please contact us with the specifics of your request.

     

  4. How will my contact information be used by the Ambassador Program?

    5. The Ambassador's Profiles section of the web site will contain only your name and picture and if you wish, your contact information. In accordance with our privacy policy no contact information will be released without your consent. Please refer to our privacy statement.

     

  5. How do I submit a business lead to Economic Development Brandon?

    6. Fill out the on-line business lead referral form which is then submitted to Economic Development for follow-up.  You can also send us the information by email or telephone.
